Dee and Glen Anspach moved to Lafayette in 1955 and opened a small jewelry business, which has grown into one of Lafayette’s longest established businesses, Anspach’s Jewelry. Their son, Graig, now manages the business and does most of the design and custom jewelry work.
Dee and Glen generously gave back to the community that supported them, both monetarily and by their involvement with 4-H, the Lafayette Volunteer Fire Department, the Methodist church, several civic functions and other community organizations.
Their children, Graig, Denise and Dawn, and several grandchildren have contributed to the family business and have continued the community involvement begun by their parents.
