As president and founder of Boulder-based Spyder Active Sports, Jacobs has built the company from a small startup in his Boulder kitchen to a worldwide skiwear brand.
He is a 1987 inductee into the Laurentian Ski Hall of Fame in Quebec, Canada, a 1988 inductee into the Canadian Honor Roll of Skiing, and a 2001 inductee into the Colorado Ski Hall of Fame. David is a five-time finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year for the Rocky Mountain Region. Spyder is recognized as the leading specialty skiwear brand in the world.
