With help from their five sons, Don and Lee Weakland started The Flower Bin January 1971 on a two lane road in the country. Their thriving garden center has grown every year, and now includes several greenhouses where they grow almost everything they sell. They salute Longmont and Boulder County for supporting the business that they love and are dedicated to serving their community. Don was on the board of the Longmont Chamber of Commerce 4 years and has been a member since 1971. He also served 4 years on the St Vrain Valley School board.
