Colorado native Lane Earnest co-founded Caplan and Earnest, Boulder County’s oldest and largest locally owned law firm. For more than four decades of his professional life, “Earnie” has provided leadership, energy and good humor to numerous educational, civic, community, philanthropic and Christian organizations throughout the state. He has left an indelible mark on the State’s business communities, particularly on Boulder County.
Since retiring, Earnie serves as Protestant cha chaplain to passengers and crew members in the cruise ship industry; and, with his wife Barbara, assists Katrina victims in salvaging their flood damaged homes.
