Jon Kottke and his wife, Lenna, moved to the Boulder area in 1972. Celebrating 47 years of marriage to his college sweetheart and raising two children he’s proud of add to what he considers a good life. People who know Kottke describe him by using words in common: relatable, strong moral character and excellent mentor. By having a law practice with a partner, Kottke & Brantz, Jon has flexibility in his schedule to stay involved with his kids and the community. Kottke takes his volunteer work as seriously as he takes the work of his law firm. For him, it’s a love of working with people that fuels his involvement. He credits that love as the secret sauce for his successful law practice. “It’s such a blessing to be able to live and work in Boulder County, so naturally I just want to give back.”
