After an entire working career with the Daily Camera in Boulder, Paddock retired as editor – the third family member in the post.
He served as president or chairman of the following organizations: Boulder Historical Society, Boulder Rotary Club, Town and Gown, Boulder County Business Hall of Fame, Colorado Press Association and the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. Paddock also has been active in various other nonprofit organizations.
Paddock served as a member of the Hall of Fame’s board for many years, which in its first year inducted 15 business leaders to create the annual awards recognition.
