Peter  was  formerly a practicing dentist in Vail, Colorado from 1972 until 1980.  Looking for more varied challenges, he sold his practice and entered the Real Estate Industry, first as a commercial broker in Denver, Colorado.  It was during this period that he met Marcel Arsenault, initially by brokering  investment  properties to Colorado and Santa Fe, and since 1995, as an independent partner.

Peter and Marcel began their partnership by investing in Condo Conversions in Colorado, Arizona, Wyoming, Texas and Florida,  beginning in the mid 1990”s. Together  they also invested in apartments, office and industrial properties, and ground up development.

During the course of their partnership there have been several impactful Real Estate cycles requiring foresight and agility in order, first, not to be ship wrecked by the storms, but rather to survive and thrive.  Together the team weathered the storms of FADA, RTC and most recently bank REO during the “Great Recession”.  The team was poised and positioned to take advantage of the  dislocations in the aftermath of these crises.

Considering ourselves to have expertise in turn arounds plus being ever opportunistic, Peter and Marcel led a team to tackle turn arounds in Marbella, Spain, a market in disarray but with great recovery potential.   Initially acquiring distressed bank owned real estate in the Marbella market, and subsequently doing ground up development, the team has successfully completed seven projects with favorable financial results.

Peter has appeared in articles in Time Magazine, Colorado Real Estate Journal, Inc Magazine and many others.

Peter’s charitable interests mainly focus on Education for underprivileged children.  He has served on the Board of ACE  (Alliance for Choice in Education)  for many years.  ACE is an organization which funds scholarships for under privileged students.  In addition he has been actively involved in funding scholarships at his former boarding school in the UK, assisting deserving students with high potential but limited family means.
