Richard Salberg, president of The First National Bank of Longmont, was born in Longmont in November, 1937, and was raised in nearby Johnstown. He is a graduate of Johnstown High School, the University of Colorado-Boulder and the Colorado Graduate School of Banking. His accomplishments include receiving the Del & Doris Scott award from the Colorado Banking Association, along with his wife Anne; and receiving the 54509 Lester W. Bevins vocational service award from Rotary International. In addition to serving on the Boulder County Hospice board, he has served on several local service boards.
