The Boulder County Business Hall of Fame proudly welcomes Vicki Trumbo. Trumbo grew up in Iowa and moved to Lafayette in 1976 with her husband, Dave, and 2-year-old daughter, Megan. Their son, Andrew, made his welcome in 1981.
Dave managed Hiway Drug in town, and they later purchased the drug store and ran it from 1983 to 1988.
Trumbo became involved with the community by volunteering at the Lafayette Chamber and for community events such as Celebrate Lafayette. In 1989, the first ever executive director position at the Lafayette Chamber was created, Trumbo applied and was chosen from more than 85 candidates. Thirty years later, she’s still the director and still loving life in Lafayette.
Dave and Vicki are the proud grandparents of six amazing grandkids, three in Broomfield and three in Texas.
