After being discharged from the Army in 1956, William “Bill” Hofgard, moved to Boulder with his wife Edna and their one-year old son Mark. Bill started in business as a young life insurance agent during which time he and Edna raised two additional sons, Jeff and Kurt. As an employee benefit consultant/broker, Bill founded Benefit Plan Administrators Inc., which is Boulder’s only third-party administrator for employee benefits.
As well as being a successful businessman, Bill has also given unstintingly of his time and talent as a volunteer and board of director member for many Boulder County community service agencies.
